$97 I'd say I'm pretty good at painting. I prefer acrylics because I don't have time to waste, but I've practiced techniques of the old masters, for example I've worked with egg tempera and have tried my hand at sfumato. Oh, and hand me a tablet for the computer, and I can render some pretty awesome images in Corel Painter (I just learned that this semester).
